Product Development Facilities
Over recent years, to ensure that all product development facilities can be found under one roof, the company has invested heavily in training and the latest equipment.
Finding all the facilities listed below in one place is rare.

Utilizing Delcams Powershape software, our CAD department can receive data in a wide range of formats, including, amongst others, IGES; CATIA; PRO-E; SOLID WORKS; PARA-SOLIDS, by email; disc; or uploading to customer dedicated FTP sites. Highly trained CAD technicians experienced in, for example, Lost Wax; PU moulding; rotational moulding; vac forming; iron, steel and non ferrous sand casting; the design and manufacture of many types of jigs and fixtures across the whole manufacturing spectrum

Pattern Making
Prototype or production patterns, direct from CAD data or by skilled craftsman, for a wide range of foundry pattern equipment - from small cake dies to large marine or land based diesel engines, for example, the 10,000 HP V20 diesel engine used to power the cross channel Sea Cats.

3D Digital Laser Scanning
Our advanced Steinbichler laser scanning system can create point cloud data, or fully surfaced models, of almost any 3D shape.
For use in reverse engineering of products, or verification of a product back to original CAD data. We also have CNC Co-Ordinate measuring capability to complement our scanning capacity.

Model Making
CNC cut or by hand from 2D drawings, production of complex models from Model Board, wood, GRP or aluminium.

Production Tooling
High precision tooling using aluminium, steel or GRP for a range of processes e.g. PU foam moulding; lost wax; gravity die casting, rubber compression moulding, rotational moulding and vac forming.

CNC Machining
3 axis, 3+1 axis and simultaneous 5 axis machining, all DNC linked to our CAD department. All with spindle speeds upto 30,000 rpm on refrigerated ceramic spindles for accuracy and quality surface finish.

Trim Development
Applications include automotive seating, aircraft seating and aircraft interiors, or any other type of bespoke prototype seating or trim development. Including in house facility for pouring PU foams on site to customer requirements. Plus, the development of customers' finished trim requirements.

GRP
A fully manned glass reinforced polyurethane moulding facility producing a wide variety of hand laid mouldings. These are based on our own moulds or those supplied by the customer. Work undertaken includes : - bathing facilities for the disabled; aircraft interiors; gas kiosk assemblies, gaming table trim panels and many more.
